Sometimes, we may need images of a different size or in a different format so we can upload them to a web site or send them to a friend, without taking too long. Converting or resizing images is not a challenging task if you have the right software. Some applications tend to make this process much harder than it has to be, due to thick layers of options or a clumsy interface. SimpleSizer certainly earns its name because it lets you resize images, convert them and perform other actions, with very little effort.

The setup process is as easy as using the application itself. Apart from selecting a destination path and other basic settings, the wizard will not hinder you with anything else.

SimpleSizer lest you add prefixes and suffixes to your image files, place watermarks, resize and convert them. Every action can be performed on the same window, which means that you will not have to switch to different windows or go to various sections on the interface. A files list can be found in the upper left area of the window, where you can load images and you can adjust them, using the options on the right side.

Most of the editing options work the same way. You will have to click a check box, to activate a certain function, and type something in a dialog box or select an item from a drop menu. If you want to add a prefix, just tick this option and type the prefix. Converting the loaded images can be done by ticking the "Save image as" option and selecting a format from a drop menu. Changing their resolutions requires clicking a different check box and typing height and length values.

The pictures can be processed immediately, to apply your settings, by clicking a button, beneath the files list. Alternatively, you may hit a different Process button, to send the images by email after they are edited.

Pros

The software lets you perform various actions on multiple images. The editing options are placed in separate groups, according to their functions, making it easy to find what you need. They are straightforward and easy to understand, so you do not have to be a skilled user to process your images.

Cons

You can only add a text watermark and the only configurations involve changing the size and color of the font. You don't need to get caught in complex options just to convert or resize your images. SimpleSizer makes it possible to process any number of pictures in a fast and comfortable manner.
